The unofficial, unconventional, music video for one of my favorite bands The Paper Kites, of their song Featherstone. "It's been 6 years since I came out to my parents by telling them I was in love with a girl. This is not a queer video, but about me as a human being and my journey of finding self and love. My first serious relationships with women were all the same: they loved me but did not love me enough to stay with me because I was a girl, and therefore went on to be with boys. At the time, I thought it was them conforming and or settling, so I created the concept for a music video for Featherstone by the Paper Kites. It was a perfect representation of my love life during that time and therefore have brought it to life as a reflection of where I was 6 years ago.
